Our Why

The building we call home first opened its doors in 1882.

The South Star School Charitable Trust continuing that legacy. Restoring and caring for this heritage-listed landmark to ensure it remains a living, warm, and vibrant place to connect for generations to come.

The restoration is a community-led effort — a reflection of the belief that it takes a village to create culture, belonging and shared future.
